The Malagold Team is on a roll towards a fine weekend in the ribbons!

In the conformation competition today, Miss Snow (Malagold's Let It Snow) took Second place in the Open Bitch Class. A very good showing for the new Rally Advanced titlist.

Malagold's Wish Upon A Star (Wish) won the Bred By Exhibitor Bitch class and went Reserve Winners Bitch today. But - Wish continued on in further competition and was awarded Best Bred By Exhibitor Golden Retriever, which allowed her to complete in the Bred By Exhibitor Sporting Group. And Wish takes High honors by winning the Bred By Exhibitor Sporting group!

But wait - not to let the girls have all the glory -

Flag Jr (UKC GRCH and CAN/AM CH Malagold's Wave To The Flag) continues his winning ways and earns the Best of Breed ribbon!! Flag Jr goes on to compete in the Sporting Group, earning a Group Third placement!

Flag Jr earning a Sporting Group 3rd placement!

But the Malagold Gang is not just made up of handsome and pretty faces. They have the brains to go along with those good looks, and Sunshine (Malagold's Country Sunshine, RA) proves just that by competing in Rally Advanced Excellent, earning a second place finish and her sixth leg towards her next title.

A really great day for the Malagold crew!

Malagold's Wish Upon A Star - We could not "wish" for anything more!

But wait - not to let the girls have all the glory -

Flag Jr (UKC GRCH and CAN/AM CH Malagold's Wave To The Flag) partakes in the competition as well and wins Best of Breed!!

A pretty nice day. Oh there is more, though -

There is the Rally competition in the afternoon for Snow and her mom, Malagold's Country Sunshine, RA.

Snow competed in the Rally Advanced class and earned her third and final leg and is now moving up from her RN title to her new RA title!

Sunshine is certainly not resting on her daughter's accomplishments, as she competed, with her owner, Deb Caukin, to earn her fifth leg (out of ten required) towards her Rally Advanced Excellent (RAE) title. She also did well enough in the competition to earn a second place ribbon for all her efforts!

So a pretty nice day turned into an even prettier day for all the Malagold gang!

Today was the BIG DAY for Mr. Pat - Malagold's Patriot, TD. He is his owner/handler, Pam German, were participating in the Tracking Dog Excellent test at Rock Cut State Park, in Love's Park, Illinois.

The TDX fields consist of variable terrains with tall to medium grasses and weeds. There is a small creek, bushes, heavy brushy areas along with light woods, open fields with rolling hills, dirt/gravel/asphalt park roads, tree/fence lines, and areas of short mowed grass…all of which may be used as obstacles. And all were certainly used on this day!!

Again, Mr. Pat and his owner and handler, Pam German, ran the TDX track flawlessly on his first try - in under seventeen minutes. Even with a deer running across his path, Mr. Pat did not miss a step!!

We are all so excited for "Mr. Pat, TDX" and Pam! Congratulations to both of them for this outstanding accomplishment!
