After a week off, a couple of the Malagold kids head out to the local Kalamazoo area dog show.

Malagold's Code of Honor takes first place in the 12-15 Month Dog Class and goes on to take Reserve Winners Dog!

Sise (Malagold's Singular Sensation) goes first in the Bred By Exhibitor Class and continued on to take Winners Bitch and Best of Winners!!

Both kids do Malagold proud today!!

It is a new day at the Land O'Lakes Golden Retriever Club Specialty shows.

There are Sweepstakes today! Imo (Toasty's Massimo) won his 12-15 Month Dog Class!! Sise (Malagold's Singular Sensation) went second in her sweepstakes class, the 15-18 Month Bitch Class!

In the Regular Classes, it was a Boy's Day -

- Imo (Toasty's Massimo) - Took third place in the 12-18 Month Dog Class
- Drummer (Malagold's Distant Drummer) - First place in the Bred By Exhibitor Dog Class

The boys stayed in the ribbons! Way to go!!

The second Specialty Show started in the afternoon. No Sweepstakes so it was just the Regular Classes -

- Imo (Toasty's Massimo) - takes the first place ribbon and goes on to earn Reserve Winners Dog, all fromo the 12-18 Month Dog Class!!
- Drummer (Malagold's Distant Drummer) - wins the Bred By Exhibitor Dog Class.
- SiSe (Malagold's Singular Sensation) - takes second place in the 12-18 Month Class

Two shows in one day - make for a good amount of ribbons!! Way to go, Team Malagold!

It is Specialty Time and the Malagold Kids are ready for some Specialty Fun! The Kids are loaded up and make their way to Valopraiso, Indiana for a few days of Golden excitement!

And today, the excitement comes BIG TIME!

Sweepstakes came in the morning, and Imo (Toasy's Massimo) went Best Of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes from the 12-15 Month Dog Class!! Sise (Malagold's Singular Sensation) won first place in her class, the 15-18 Month Bitch Class!

From the Regular Classes -

- Imo (Toasty's Massimo) - takes second place in the 12-18 Month Dog Class
- Drummer (Malagold's Distant Drummer) - wins the Bred By Exhibitor Dog Class, takesReserve Winners Dog and Best Bred By Exhibitor
- SiSe (Malagold's Singular Sensation) - First place in the 12-18 Month Class, and she goes on to win Winners Bitch honors! second place in the 6-9 Puppy Bitch Class

From the Best of Breed class, Pystol (CH Malagold's She's A Wild One RN, AX, AXJ, CD) takes Best of Opposite honors on the day!

Drummer and the Malagold Gang are taking a short trip to Monroe, Michigan, to see if they can add a few more wins to the family resumes! And they did quite well on the day -

- Guage (Malagold's Riding Shotgun) - takes third place in the 12-18 Month Dog Class
- Drummer (Malagold's Distant Drummer) - wins the Bred By Exhibitor Dog Class, takes Winners Dog and goes Best of Winners for 2 more points!
- Rain (Malagold's Purple Rain) - second place in the 6-9 Puppy Bitch Class
- Jeans (Malagold My Best Jeans) - first place in the Bred By Exhibitor Bitch Class and then goes Reserve Winners Bitch

From the Best of Breed class, CH. Malagold's Wish Granted takes Select Dog honors for 2 points towards his Grand Champion title!

This was a very special day for the Malagold kids!

Macomb Kennel Club Davisburg, MI

Connie and Drummer took a quick drive to Davisburg, Michigan, won some ribbons and took the points, hung out to socialize and came back home - a little closer to that Championship title!

To sum it all up -

Drummer (Malagold's Distant Drummer) - wins the Bred By Exhibitor Dog Class, takes Winners Dog, gets Best of Winners honors and brings home 1 more point!

Was a great day!

Connie, Melissa and a few dogs made the trek to Wisconsin for a day at the Fair Grounds in Waukesha.

Imo (Toasty's Massimo) begins the day with a 2st place ribbon from the 9-12 Puppy Dog Class.

Drummer (Malagold's Distant Drummer) has another great day with a win in the Bred By Exhibitor Dog Class and going on to earn Winners Dog for 2 points!

The second day of the Grayslake show weekend started out early - and HOT!

Imo (Toasty's Massimo) starts out with a 1st place ribbon from the 6-9 Puppy Dog Class.

Drummer (Malagold's Distant Drummer) takes it almost all the way with a win the Bred By Exhibitor Dog Class and going on to earn Reserve Winners Dog!

SiSe (Malagold's Singular Sensation) wins the 12-18 Month Bitch Class while Kinje (Malagold's Piece Of My Heart) wins the Bred By Exhibitor Bitch Class! A good showing in the classes for the Malagold girls!

From the Best of Breed class, Pystol (CH Malagold's She's A Wild One RN, AX, AXJ, CD) - Best of Opposite Sex!

A hot day at the Specialty, but it was all good!

It was a quick turnaround trip - back to Illinois for the International Kennel Club dog show! And a great show it was for the new kids on the Malagold block!

Drummer (Malagold's Distant Drummer) was the big winner of the day, taking 1st place in the Bred By Exhibitor Dog Class and going on to earn a 3 point major by going Winners Dog!

SiSe (Malagold's Singular Sensation) had a fun day, taking the second place ribbon out of the 12-18 Month Bitch Class. And Jeans (Malagold's My Best Jeans) wins the Bred By Exhibitor Bitch Class! Nice for the girls!

Another weekend trip for Connie, Jeans and Grant! And well worth the travel to Illinois for the Wheaton Kennel Club show!

Grant (Malagold's Wish Granted) once again had his time in the spotlight, as he won the Bred By Exhibitor Dog class, going on to take the ribbons for Winners Dog to complete his CHAMP{IONSHIP title!! With FIVE major wins!!

Jeans (Malagold's My Best Jeans) also was in the ribbons with a wn from the Bred By Exhibitor Bitch class! Her turn under the bright lights will come soon enough!

It was a great day for the Malagold Team in Illinois!

Taking time out from a busy Memorial Day weekend to attend a show in Kalamazoo - right in their own backyard! Connie, Grant and Jeans drove over to the show and had a great morning!

Grant (Malagold's Wish Granted) did his show thing to perfection, winning the Bred By Exhibitor Dog class, earning Winners Dog for another 3-point major win!

Jeans (Malagold's My Best Jeans) also was in the ribbons with a wn from the Bred By Exhibitor Bitch class!

This is the second day of the Specialty weekend and the Malagold Kids are having a great time, which is a wonderful experience for them! They all enjoyed their moments in the ring and had fun visiting with everyone at the show!
