It is the third day of a beautiful weekend at the Ann Arbor Kennel Club shows and what a great day it was!

Legend (Malagold's Stone Legend) - 1st place from the Bred By Exhibitor Dog Class, Winners Dog for 2 points and a new Championship title!

Rikki (Malagold's Got My Mind Set On You) - 1st place in the 6-9 Month Puppy Bitch Class

Gem (Malagold's She's A Gem) - 1st place in the 12-15 Month Bitch Class

Imo (GCH. Toasty's Massimo) - Competing in the Best of Breed class, and winning Best of Breed, Owner-Handler Best of Breed, going on to an Owner-Handler Sporting Group 3

And the Schipperkes had another fabulous day!!

Sailor (Malagold TumbleweedSon Of A Sailor) - 1st place from the Open Dog Class, Winners Dog, Best of Winners for 4 points

Shade (Tumbleweed's 99 In The Shade At Malagold) - moved up to the Best of Breed Class, and the little girl wins it all :)

Day two is the beginning of the Ann Arbor Kennel Club shows and Geri has arrived to show the Goldens and her Schipperkes! Should be a fun day!

Took a big part of the winter months off, but decided to break out the Malagold Motorhome and take the Malagold Kids to the nearby Golden Retriever Specialty show in Indiana. What an exciting first day of shows it was!!

For the first dog show after attending the GRCA National, it was a wonderful day for the Malagold kids!.

Legend (Malagold's Stone Legend) earns 1st place from the Bred By Exhibitor Dog class and goes on to win the rosette for Reserve Winners Dog!

Lyric (Malagold's Runnin' Down A Dream) takes 1st place in the Junior 12-15 Bitch class and also goes on to earn the rosette for Reserve Winners Bitch

Buttercup (Malagold's Build Me Up Buttercup) earns a 2nd place ribbon from a beautiful Bred By Exhibitor Bitch class

Imo (CH. Toasty's Massimo) who competes in the Best of Breed class, takes Best of Breed honors and goes on to earn 4th place in the Sporting Group!

Golden Retriever Club of America National Specialty Purina Farms Gray Summit. MO

Packed up the Malagold motorhome and made a day trip to Purina Farms in Gray Summit, Missouri, for the Golden Retriever Club of America National Specialty. What a great week for the Malagold Team!

Connie had the honor of judging the Golden Retriever Foundation Top Twenty competition, bringing together the top ranked Golden Retrievers in the country! What a grand evening this was!

Then the GRCA National Specialty started with the Sweepstakes judging - both Puppy and Veteran Sweeps! Then the Regular classes were judged for Dogs and Bitches, leaving the Best of Breed competition to the end of the week.

And the Malagold kids were extremely busy! The following girls and boys competed throughout the week -

Legend - Competed in the 15-18 month Puppy Dog Sweepsstakes class, taking 2nd place out of 12. He then went on to compete in the Regular Dog Class, 15-18 months, and earned a 3rd place rosette out of 16 in his class

Brix - Wow! This boy had a very busy week! Brixy took 4th place out of 19 entries in the Amateur Owner Handler dog class. He also earned his Working Certificate and passed all the qualifications for Junior Hunter, earning him an additional title!! Congratulations to Anney Doucette and Brix!!

Lyric - This girl really worked it in the 12-15 month regular bitch class, earning the 2nd place rosette out of an entry of 26 bitches!! How great is that for the baby girl?

Pebbles - This little girl competed in the 15-18 month bitch regular class. She did not get a placement, but she had fun!!

Imo - This young man competed in the Best of Breed ring, and made the first cut from 20 other boys in his group! Great showing for Imo!!

Cody - And here was a real highlight as Cody, going out as a special for the very first time, earns a Judges Award of Merit in the Best of Breed competition, with a total entry of 236 Champions going in and out of the ring over two days! What an "Honor" for Cody and the Malagold Team!

Pystol - The senior member of the Malagold Team, Pystol, was also in the rosettes as she was honored with a 3rd place win out of 19 entries in the 8-10 year veteran bitch sweepstakes class. She then had a day of rest and went back in to compete in the regular 8-10 year veteran bitch class, earning 4th place out of 19 entries.
