With his strength of movement and the classic Golden Retriever head, Stoney was an outstanding all around Golden Retriever! Stoney had a beautiful strong back and topline, a nice short loin, wonderful rib spring and effortless movement - front, side and back. Who could truly ask for anything more?
But we did.
With multiple Sweepstakes wins, a UKC and AKC Championship title before the age of two. Stoney and his co-owner, Melissa, competed in United Kennel Club conformation competition and earned a Best in Show award and a Reserve Best in Show award – on the same day! Stoney had gone on to compete at the GRCA National Specialty, earning Best of Breed Award of Merit two years in a row.
Stoney had continued to broaden his resume by winning high honors in both Rally Obedience and Agility competition, with recently completed advanced Agility titles added to his already blossoming resume! Handsome in body, and strong of spirit and heart, Stoney could do it all, there is no doubt.
Stoney is the perfect compliment to our beautiful girl, "Summer".
Summer is a moderately sized girl with a beautiful front and rear assembly, and a very pretty Golden profile. There is no wasted motion when you watch Summer run through the back fields. She has a beautiful and expressive face and will steal your heart with a glance. All of this caught the judges' eyes in the show ring and allowed her to finish her Championship title with ease!
This is a formidable pedigree, that brings the 'old guard' to the present, with the promise of an amazing future!
